FAQ

At GardenRootly, we design tools for real gardens and real routines. Below are some common questions we hear from everyday gardeners and simple answers to help you feel confident using your tools.

Do I need experience to use GardenRootly tools?

Not at all. Our tools are created with beginners and casual gardeners in mind. If you can water plants, you can use our tools. Most items require no setup and are intuitive from the first use.

What should I do right after opening my package?

We recommend three quick steps:

  1. Lay everything out and confirm all parts are included

  2. Gently test the tool’s movement or power (without load)

  3. Read any quick-start notes included in the box

If something seems missing or incorrect, just take a photo and contact us.

How often should I clean my tools?

Ideally after every use. Even a quick wipe helps:

  • Remove soil and moisture

  • Prevent rust buildup

  • Keep blades sharp longer

For sticky sap or residue, household vinegar or rubbing alcohol works well.

My tool feels stiff. Is that normal?

This usually means dirt or debris has built up in moving parts. Clean the joints thoroughly and apply a drop of oil. If stiffness continues, our support team can advise further.

Can I use these tools in small spaces?

Yes. GardenRootly tools are well suited for:

  • Apartment balconies

  • Raised beds

  • Small backyard gardens

  • Indoor plant care

They’re lightweight, easy to control, and designed to reduce hand fatigue.

How should I store my tools?

Store tools in a dry, ventilated area. Hanging them is ideal.
For electric tools, remove batteries during long-term storage and recharge them every few months.
